The Inaugural Youth Giving Summit Part 2, organized by Candid and The International Social Impact Institute, brought together Khloe Thompson and Benjamin Wong, two fifteen-year-old changemakers, to discuss how the youth can lead and address global challenges by building virtual tribes and leveraging global youth giving ecosystems.
The session emphasized the importance of empowering young people to create change and how community and connection play a vital role in driving change. Khloe Thompson shared her experience of establishing Khloe Kares, a non-profit organization, and how founding and building a tribe through Giving Tuesday Spark helped her cause. Benjamin Wong discussed his interest in entrepreneurship and his youth community, a virtual clubhouse where young people can connect and learn from each other. Their experiences and advice provide actionable steps that young people can take to become leaders today and create a better tomorrow.
