Tufts University Students Form Grantmaking Board

This case study highlights “Experimenting in Philanthropy”, a course offered through the Experimental College at Tufts University and funded by different foundations each year. The course teaches students about grantmaking by having them form a board with a mission, develop a request for proposals (RFP) for community-based organizations, and make grant decisions based on proposals and discussion.
