Can YouthBank Help Tackle Youth Unemployment in Mozambique?

Mozambique continues to be one of the poorest countries in the world. An organization called the MICAIA Foundation, based in Chimoio, Mozambique, helps citizens develop their capabilities to build sustainable livelihoods. Their efforts include adapting and implementing YouthBank, which is an ambitious program aimed at increasing economic development opportunities for young people. MICAIA’s Director, Milagre Nuvunga shares insights about YouthBank Chimoio in this interview with the Global Fund for Community Foundations.
